Election of Board of Directors 2012-2013

In accordance with ISM Florida Gulf Coast Bylaws, Article VII, Section 3, the Directors shall be elected by the regular members of the Association at an annual meeting of the Association in accordance with the Association Policies & Procedures Manual. The final slate of candidates is presented to the general membership at the annual meeting being held April 12, 2012, with a return date of no later than May 2, 2012. During this election period, the official ballot will be concurrently and prominently posted on the Association’s website. When the balloting period closes, the Elections Committee will tabulate the results of the election and prepare a final list of winning candidates.

Your vote counts – please submit your ballot per the instructions contained on the ballot form. You have a say in how your Association is governed and we want your support and approval.

The attachments provide the duties of the officers as well as the current slate of officiers on the ballot. We need another person to serve as a Director-At-Large. If you have a couple of hours a month to volunteer, please write in your name as a candidate and submit the ballot.

ISM Announces New Professional Credential

ISM announces a new certification option for professionals to prove their broad-based knowledge in all the major components of supply management. ISM expanded its credentials program to include the new Certified in Supply Management™ (CSM™) designation. The CSM™ offers a certification option for those with experience in supply management and procurement who do not have a bachelor’s degree. The new CSM™ designation debuts November 15, 2011.
